PerioVive appears to be a very useful adjunct to treating periodontal disease in dogs. In my hands, it fills a clinical void in treating both individual teeth with marginal pocket depths that don't fully meet clinical criteria for extraction and in surgical wound healing of teeth extracted as treatment of more advanced periodontal disease.
